Nika the Muse

This is one of the many color works that Greg LaRocque has recently done. More of Greg’s color works will be displayed at the Gallery Provocateur August 2010 Exhibition in Chicago.

In the words of Greg LaRocque, "I’m calling this piece ‘The Muse’. Veronika Kotlajic has modeled for some of my favorite artists including Boris Vallejo. She offers herself up for interpretation through their vision. For my piece I wanted to show the blood sweat & tears it takes to put yourself out there like that. I think most artists do suffer for their craft, & being the muse that inspires them can be bitter sweet, bringing both joy & sorrow."
